Welcome to a caring pharmacy. The staff at our pharmacy adds significant value in the prescription dispensing process by providing comprehensive pharmaceutical care.
Your physician relies on the pharmacist for advice about
drugs because pharmacists are trained specifically in dispensing drugs. It is
our responsibility to check every prescription to make sure the physician has
prescribed the correct medicine, dose and strength, how to use the medicine and
quantity.
Our pharmacists perform a process called "Drug Utilization Review" to screen for allergies, interactions with other prescriptions, duplicate prescriptions and/or other medical problems.
Your physician and pharmacist communicate about your treatment to ensure you have the best possible therapy. Our pharmacists avoid or resolve problems through the following steps: speaking to physician to adjust the medicine or dosage; alerting the physician to a potential problem; referring you to your physician.
The pharmacists at our pharmacy know you and take steps to help make taking your medicine easy and convenient. Problems are solved by putting medicine in easy-to-open vials (if requested) for older or arthritic patients, or dispensing medicine in packages that help patients who have trouble remembering to take their medication.
Sometimes you might forget much of what your physician has told you about your medicine. This is very normal. It's important to the recovery process to understand how to take your medication and why it was prescribed. Our pharmacists can counsel you on each medication and are always available if you have a question about any of your prescribed prescriptions.
Sometimes it's only after a medication has been taken awhile that problems may occur. Communication with our pharmacists is important so that problems can be prevented. Our pharmacists can determine if the medication is being taken correctly, if side effects are being experienced, if you need to see the doctor or if refills are too frequent or not frequent enough.
Our pharmacy is a source for all your pharmaceutical needs. Offering both conventional and alternative medicines, we are dedicated to providing you the service, selection and competitive prices you deserve.
